7 July 05 Surrey SAR members were called out to search for a female reported missing in the area of 96th Avenue. The individual returned home in good condition and searchers were stood down while mustering.

27 June 05 23 SAR volunteers from North Shore, Coquitlam, Chilliwack, Central Fraser Valley, Kent Harrison and Surrey responded to assist with the rescue of an ill climber from Coleman Glacier on Mount Baker USA. Volunteers with Mountain Rescue training were requested to assist with carrying the person off of the mountain by stretcher as weather conditions prohibited the use of air resources. The individual was brought out and turned over to ambulance personnel.

6 June 05 7 Central Fraser Valley and 3 Surrey SAR members searched for the occupant of a motor vehicle involved in an accident near the Abbotsford Airport. SAR was stood down after the subject was found to have returned to their residence.

30 May 05 13 members from Central Fraser Valley, Surrey and Ridge Meadows SAR teams responded to search for a male missing near the Fraser River by the Bedford Channel. RCMP stood SAR down when they learned the subject had returned to his home.

28 May 05 Coquitlam SAR and 1 Surrey SAR members responded to search for a despondent male missing since 26 May. The subject was located deceased and turned over to the Coroner.

15 May 05 18 Surrey SAR members responded to search for a missing 87 year old male. RCMP located male on a walk near his home.

10 April 05 15 Surrey SAR members responded to search for a missing autistic person in the Guilford area of Surrey. RCMP stood down the SAR team when the missing person was located.

10 March 05 15 Surrey SAR members responded following report of a missing 9 year old male in the Surrey area. The individual was located at a friend's home alive and well.

29 January 05 15 Surrey SAR members assisted in searching for a missing 9 year old girl in the area of 145th and 91A in Surrey. She was located across the street from her residence alive and well.
